The Marshall family’s newborn session took place in their Newport Beach home, and it was the kind of calm, cozy morning that makes lifestyle newborn photos so special. We photographed a mix of moments throughout the spaces they’ll always remember from this season , a few on the porch, some in their living area, and the sweetest quiet images in their bedroom as they soaked in life with their first baby boy. In-home newborn sessions are one of my favorite ways to document families because everything feels more relaxed, personal, and true to real life. The result is a gallery full of soft, timeless images that reflect not just what your baby looked like, but what those first days felt like.
One of the reasons I love in-home newborn sessions is because it takes so much pressure off. You don’t have to pack up the baby, rush out the door, or worry about timing everything perfectly. We just move slowly, follow your baby’s lead, and photograph what this season actually looks like for you.
