There’s something so fun about a bright Huntington Beach maternity session, especially in the morning when the beach feels open, airy, and full of light. For this session, we wandered the shoreline with no rigid plan, letting mom and her little boy explore, play, and simply be together while the photographs unfolded naturally. The clear blue sky, creamy skin tones, and sun-filled beach gave the gallery a soft, light-and-airy feel with the subtle film-inspired aesthetic I love.

As an Orange County maternity photographer, I’m always drawn to maternity sessions that feel less posed and more like real life, documenting the connection between a mother and the child who made her a mom before their family grows. This Huntington Beach maternity photography session was exactly that: relaxed, playful, sun-soaked, and full of the little in-between moments that are so easy to forget as your babies get bigger.
