I had the pleasure of photographing the Duggins family for the first time during this beautiful session at Emerald Bay, Laguna Beach. The overcast day provided the perfect soft light, making this coastal session all the more magical. As an Orange County family photographer, there’s something truly special about capturing a family in such a relaxed, natural setting like the beach. The Duggins family was full of love and laughter, and it was an honor to freeze these heartfelt moments for them.
One thing I love about photographing families in Laguna Beach is how much variety we can get in one session. Even within a small stretch of shoreline, we can photograph against cliffs, open sand, and the waterline, which gives your gallery a full story without needing multiple locations. Laguna also photographs beautifully in overcast weather, because the light stays soft and the scenery remains visible without harsh contrast.
