The Duchesneau's Family Session // Calafia State Beach // San Clemente Photographer

This session was a special one because one of these sweet girls, (Sophia , age 8yr), is a best friend of my daughters and in her second grade class  . I really love shooting at this location because of the versatility in all the scenic you get ! This spot has incredible hiking trails like the one you see us shooting on below and it offers an incredible view of the ocean! Not to mention, kids always love watching the train go by right along the beach! Just perfect. I truly loved watching these two sisters ( Sophia & Emma) bond in the ocean and run and play, capturing their sweet connection as siblings! I love  getting mommies in these shots too, because even though we tend to hide from the camera, our munchkins will love having these memories to look back on together later! Thank you Sarah for allowing me the privilege to capture these moments of you & your beautiful girls!
-Xoxo

The Rich’s Family Session // Orange County Family Photographer // Calafia State Beach Family Session

I met this sweet little family about 6 months ago when they asked me to document their first little boy arriving to this world. Baby Bolton is one of the most handsome little newborns I have ever seen and here he is, 6 months later, still as handsome as ever! This family session was so much fun to shoot because of all his little expressions, not to mention the location was killer! This is Calafia State Beach in San Clemente, CA. I love this spot because of its versatility , it has a train that goes by that my kids love watching  and it has these gorgeous huge boulders that overlook the ocean .  One of the sweetest families ever, a location like this + a baby boy with all smiles -  I mean seriously, what more can you ask for in a session?

HOLLIE + BABY RONNIE // ORANGE COUNTY FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER // Laguna Beach Montage Resort Family Session

This sweet mommy & me session took place in Laguna Beach at the Montage Resort . I just loved that baby Ronnie + Mom were both in neutral tones, really giving this session an airy crisp look along the ocean front, bringing out the blues in the ocean & sky . Plus how stinkin cute is little Ronnie & that smile?!

Stephanie + Baby Chloe + Grandma // Montage Resort, Laguna Beach CA {Orange County Family Photographer}

Meet Stephanie &  sweet little 3 month old Chole!  I have had the privilege of photographing baby Chloe since she was in mommy’s tummy! I always LOVE getting to watch your little ones grow and DOCUMENTING their milestones!  It feels like just yesterday I did baby Chloe’s newborn photos! For this session, we included Chloe’s proud grandma (hardly looks like a grandma though! ;) I enjoyed not only capturing the love between grandma & Chloe but the bond of mom & daughter as well!

Cynthia + Joey // Laguna Beach Montage Family Session

Cynthia came to me wanting to capture her bond with her sweet son Joey, and my gosh- his smile  is so RADIANT!  He is the happiest boy ever! He is such a ham in front of the camera and loves on his mommy without me having to even pose him . We decided to walk the beach in front of  Montage Resort in Laguna Beach. The rocky cliffs areas are so pretty and the light was killer during their session!

The Romney Family { Orange County Family Photographer} Corona Del Mar Family Session

I LOVED photographing this sweet little family of SIX from Utah! They came out here on family vacation and decided to capture some moments together along the beautiful coast since they don’t get this view everyday where they live! The excitement on the kids faces when they saw the water was priceless. It was a little reminder of just how lucky all us Californians are to have the luxury of going to the beach everyday ! ;) My goal with this session was to really capture that feeling you get when you are on vacation, worry-free enjoying the sunshine (though if you ask Heather, this mamma  will tell you it was quite windy & cold) Ha. They were such troopers and the kids braved the cold & wind for photos! Even though it wasn’t the sunshine they were hoping for, these moments they now have to cherish forever and to remember where they visited !

Thank you Heather (who is also a family photographer in Utah) for trusting me to capture these memories of your family !

AMANDA + MATT // Corona Del Mar

Amanda came to me wanting to celebrate her graduating from Cal State Fullerton but also to celebrate her 4 year anniversary with Matt. This session was so much fun getting creative , incorporating pieces from her collage years like her school books and cap & gown.  The light was killer and we just had blast ! Matt was a huge help carrying all her books like GENTLEMEN, making her laugh during the session  and mommy came along carrying all her wardrobe changes. Meanwhile you could see in both their eyes (her moms & boyfriends) how proud they are of Amanda & all she has accomplished. She will be graduating with a Bachelors in Child Development and I couldn't be happier for her! And lastly, CONGRATS on your 4 year anniversary you two lovebirds!
