When another photographer asks you to document their family , it’s a huge honor but when another photog says they also want to FLY you out to document their family - now that’s a whole other level. The Dinsmore family was a dream to photograph and their home was just epic with every corner full of light & love. I couldn’t wait to share more from this session with you guys but you know when you love something so much you savor it for as long as you can? Yep, thats how I feel about this session. I couldn’t possibly choose a favorite image from this family’s session because they all were my favorite. What makes this session so special? CONNECTION. Yep, that’s gold for me as an artist. When clients relax, play and laugh , are themselves in front of the lens- it allows me to capture them authentically , all that make up who they are as a family. For this session we literally did the everyday stuff from piggy back rides in the kitchen , to coloring , to story time, cuddles, airplanes- you name it. This mamma had her own beautiful style and love for photography as well, being a photographer herself- so she invested time into the aesthetic of her session , into the vision , and she trusted me whole heartedly as her photographer which I felt deep within-and it allowed me to unleash my creativity + make magic. This session will forever be a favorite that I hold dear to my heart. In-home sessions are just so incredibly heartfelt to capture because it's where your love grows, it's where your babies grow up making memories with you, it's the space of sometimes nostalgia later in years- such a privilege documenting a family in this space. I know I’ve said it before, but in-home family lifestyle sessions are my JAM.

The Lewis Family were so smitten with their sweet new addition to the family, and big sister Jetta, was the sweetest with her new baby brother, Stone. I love Orange County In-home sessions for the mere fact that it feels so much more natural over a studio setting. Capturing your family where all the love grows is so special and I always feel honored when families welcome me into their home to capture their special connection . Growing families are the best. Watching this sweet boy become a big brother and capturing his sense of curiosity and wonder made for some amazing photos in this Newborn Lifestyle Session. This family of three , now four, welcomed their sweet baby girl, who photographed beautifully in all those natural tones that their Orange County Home had to offer. This big brother and his beautiful green eyes just lit up at the sight of his sister. Photographing siblings is always so special, it's always great when I can capture their new growing bond. This is what dream in-home Family Sessions are made of.

Loved this modern natural light in-home session with The Levins Family! Their home was a dream to photograph as it was full of bright whites and touches of mid-century style, and lots and lots of love! I cannot tell you guys enough how much I adore getting the opportunity to document family sessions in the space where their love grows!
Obsessed with this little growing family! Can’t believe just a year ago I was photographing this little guy turning ONE and now he’s a BIG brother! This Orange County Newborn Session was a dream to document ! This sweet little guy, Ford, is so animated and full of joy while embracing the new addition to his family .

It’s been so incredibly busy around here for us photogs trying to juggle busy season that my blog tends to be the first to suffer! I am the first to admit I put blogging on the back burner but know how important it is to keep sharing fresh content with you guys too! I wanted to start by sharing this gorgeous in-home family session in Malibu .
I had the pleasure of documenting blogger & mommy , Roxanne West, and her adorable little family visiting here from Canada! They were vacationing here with HomeAway Vacation rentals and the space we had for the day was seriously unreal! I’m talking ocean view, super kid friendly, cozy little space filled with yummy light & sea salt air! This shabby chic, ocean front beach house had panoramic views of Santa Monica and surrounding LA, large sea level deck and the most adorable built-in-wall bunkbeds!
Not only was our space breathtaking but The West Family was a dream to photograph! For this session, I really wanted to push myself as an artist to find ways to freeze the connection between them . Lately, as an artist, I have been digging deep within myself , soul searching as an artist, pushing myself to newfound ways to capture families in their most authentic state . For this reason, during the session we did ALOT OF PLAYING. I'm talking coloring pictures, taking polaroids, bed cuddles, tickling, upside-downing, dancing in the kitchen, piggy backs kind-of-playing. I feel this type of play nurtures an environment to capture those authentoc moments , to capture those memories we all want as mommys to look back on one day.

This has to be hands down one of my favorite ever in-home family sessions! If you don’t know already, in-home sessions are my JAM guys!
The Moore Family recently moved into their new dream home in Cardiff By The Sea. Their is sonething undeniable about an in-home lifestyle session is the overwhelming comfort of home. In this home, kids will grow, love will grow, memories will grow. It doesn’t get much better than witnessing the raw, natural connection that happens between the loved ones under this roof. Watching mom & baby snuggle and the joy of truly playing together without the pressure to document it all perfectly is really where its at!
This family right here though- The Moore Family - they are the warmest and kindest people you could ask to spend your morning with and I am so grateful that I get to call them my friends!
