There is something especially meaningful about photographing a family through the years,  from when Jackson was first a newborn, to welcoming Vivian, and now documenting the Rhodes family as they prepare for baby number three.

This spring maternity session along the Huntington Beach coastline felt especially beautiful, with fresh seasonal blooms and pockets of green foliage lining the path just above the sand. The soft neutral tones of the beach reflected beautifully onto their skin, creating those creamy, luminous tones that photograph so naturally in coastal light.

As we moved through the session, we made our way from the blooms to the lifeguard tower and eventually down to the water, letting the changing scenery mirror this season of growth their family is in.
