 This is a beautiful family from the outside in guys! I love getting to photograph families! Not to forget I am in LOVE with little Sienna’s sweet smile guys! This spunky little girl is SO loved and  full of energy and joy! She is going to be a BIG sister soon and I feel so honored I get to capture it! This blue eyed family made my job super easy as we wandered the beach and played together. I really can’t say enough how much I love documenting the connection between families and moments that can be so fleeting. It is so rewarding to call this my “job” and to give tangible memories to families like this. <3

Lately I have been welcomed into a lot of homes for newborn sessions and one of my favorite parts is seeing the incredibly creative nurseries the parents build & piece together! It makes this space for their little one that much more special. This beachy themed nursery is one that makes my heart flutter guys! I literally couldn’t wait to share more of the details with you guys! Jackie & Sebastian’s Five Crowns Wedding in Corona Del Mar was incredibly jaw dropping when you talk about floral + details & gorgeous venue! The venue itself offers a patio with an abundance of greenery and a green room with large open windows and really neat vintage chairs. This couple is super stylish naturally and their wedding was nothing short of who they are. The mother of the bride literally pieced together every detail you see , the old vintage pieces are so unique that she collected from Flea Markets, Estate sells and vintage shops. All the floral her mamma picked out the morning of the wedding at local flower markets. This banner “One Love One Heart” was created by the groom himself. I mean honestly it was so touching to see all the family working hard at creating a special space for these two to say “I do.” All the love for them was so evident but what was even more incredibly moving was these two and their love for each other. It had the crowd in tears as they read their vows. Jackie and Sebastian didn’t need fancy glamour or any expensive material things for their wedding, they made their day 100% about them and this new chapter they are about to embark on as a married couple. They were so easy going and humble , it was truly a wedding I will never forget.

I am SO behind on blogging guys! Like a gazillion sessions waiting on my desktop to hit the BLOG, eeks!

 I’ve been photographing lots of new little blossoms of humanity lately and I’m loving it! It must be baby booming season you guys! This Orange County family session was really fun because of big sister who was full of spunk & energy! I just adore watching little ones become siblings and that I get to witness the love & joy of it right behind my lens! My goal for these sessions are not to force anything, to roll with the punches and capture the beauty that is already right there in front of us. I do a little posing and directing but mostly just to give big sister something to do with her hands ;) Their is nothing more beautiful than a family bonding and I really like to encourage story time, jumping on the bed and lots of cuddles + kisses to get those real & raw moments captured. 

OKAY- this sweet little boys nursery? Can we just hashtag #nurserygoals already?! I mean who doesn’t love a travel room , this theme was so darn cute! I love how mamma pieced together the wall of little travel books, the word “E-X-P-L-O-R-E”  and the little personalized car with their families last name.

Don’t even get me started on the incredibly beautiful garden swing they had just hanging out in their yard! I literally saw it thru their window as I was peeking thru their curtains (wait, that sound creepy. I mean in a non-creepy way ;) and said to them “ Can we please use that gorgeous swing surrounded by roses & greenery ?!  Hashtag #everyphotographersdream

A couple weekends ago we had some gorgeous mammas & their adorable babies join in for the Mommy & Me Mini Sessions! It was so fun frolicking thru the golden fields at Bommer Canyon, Irvine . It was really the perfect soft light we needed for our sessions too! I just adore motherhood and getting to capture that raw beauty of it all is my absolute favorite. You guys might remember these two new parents from their recent maternity session with me . Well Baby Owen is here and so incredibly loved, not just by his parents but by his fur-siblings too ;)  I love getting to capture those beginning moments of becoming a family , I witness the powerful love that exists between the parents and their new little bundle of joy and it melts me. I am such a mushy heart behind my lens , I seriously have the best.job.ever. I can’t say that enough.

So I’m incredibly behind on blogging guys! I have quite a few fresh new sessions hitting the blog soon though! 

This Shaw’s Cove Laguna Beach Session had that soft dreamy sunset light that I just love! The Dowden’s Family came all the way from Indiana to visit our California beaches and I swear they look like Californians, don’t they? Little miss Emily (age 2yr) is about to be a BIG sister! She was full of many expressions and excitement which made it such a joy to capture her! Not to forget to mention her adorable little boho dress her mamma managed to find for our session, I mean how cute are those sleeves?! This sweet girl is so incredibly deeply loved and it shows! Grandma Karen reached out to me to capture the generations of her family and I am so honored to have been able to document their growing family for them while on vacation. I mean, what better way then on vacay right?

This gorgeous mamma, Jessica,  is a dear friend of mine and I just can’t get enough of photographing her new little girl Avery. For this session we incorporated floral crowns and flowy neutral toned  dresses to really get that dreamy feel to our session. I loved just sitting in the fields with these two watching them interact and capturing their love + bond. I think motherhood is so incredibly beautiful and we really can’t photograph it enough. I love the raw emotion and real connection between a mamma and her offspring , I love to get those natural organic shots that allow us to once remember a time that seems to go by so fast.
