It’s always a little nerve wracking photographing another photographer, but I felt so honored when this mamma photog asked me to capture her gorgeous family while on vacation here visiting California. This Huntington Beach Family session was as light & airy as it gets and that's always a favorite of mine. I love how cloudy days offer us that soft diffused light resulting in clean modern family photos. Also, when clients are THIS stylish- it's just the icing on the cake. This mammas neutral pallet wardrobe was to die for and helped create some really dreamy shots of her family!

Growing families are the best. Watching this sweet boy become a big brother and capturing his sense of curiosity and wonder made for some amazing photos in this Newborn Lifestyle Session. This family of three , now four, welcomed their sweet baby girl, who photographed beautifully in all those natural tones that their Orange County Home had to offer. This big brother and his beautiful green eyes just lit up at the sight of his sister. Photographing siblings is always so special, it's always great when I can capture their new growing bond. This is what dream in-home Family Sessions are made of.

Meet baby Landon, can we talk about how perfect he is. He really made this In-home Newborn Session sweet. It's always so nice to capture new parents in their own personal space, and photograph them in the home in which they became a family. This beautiful family really made it easy to capture them in the different spaces in their home and made for some great lifestyle photos that showed off that natural light in their Orange County home. I really feel privileged that I get to capture those intimate moments between new parents and baby.

The Epler family were a delight in front of the lens, not only is this mammma stunning, but sharing the spotlight with her adorable boy and sweet husband was extra special. Maternity sessions are always special to me, their is something so beautiful about photographing expectant mothers, their glow, and their sweet growing bump and expanding family.... This Sunset Beach spot was perfect for this family session as I was able to capture them with the perfect beach weather that also highlights that open seaside brush on the pathway walking down. With all the wonderful Orange County photography locations its hard not to make this one a favorite, with its diverse scenery.

The Bing Family Mommy and Me Session was one of the sweetest I have done to date. As a local to Orange County, Huntington Beach is one of my favorite Orange County Beach locations. Watching this mom of boys chase them around the beach made it really easy to capture the sweet motherhood moments. Often moms are the one taking the photos, trying to capture moments of their children instead of moments with them. Motherhood Sessions, just like family sessions, allow for those intimate moments that we often experience to be captured.

As an Orange County Family photographer I alway strive to find the perfect location for family sessions, locations that allow for great scenery, and also allow for children to run and play which really allow me to capture those candid family moments. Newport Beach is one of my favorite locations to do family beach sessions, and the O'Brien Family was so much fun to work with. This sweet family came all the way from Austin, Texas. What a great way to beat the summer heat! We Californians dont realize how spoiled we are! The day of their session we lucked out with a cloudy day, this type of beach weather always offers that soft diffused light which I love! Don’t ever opt out of  your session due to lack of sunshine, cloudy days can make for some great photos too! Plus, Crystal Cove State Beach is such a beautiful gem to shoot at!

This adorable twin newborn portrait session is one of my all time favorites, double the love and double the sweetness! The Garber Family has always been a dream to photograph! It can always be a bit tricky coordinating a toddler + two brand new littles but these guys made parenthood look easy! Loved hanging out with this sweet family and cant wait to photograph all these little munchkins again as they grow up! In-home sessions are always a gem to document!
