This Laguna Beach Family session was such a dream to capture! Not too long ago, I was capturing The Roach family right as they welcomed their third little guy into the family, now look at him a few months later full of that adorable luscious baby chub! What a treasure it is seeing families & your kiddos grow. What an honor it is when families choose me time and time again to still be the one to capture their family. I love every minute of capturing you snuggle, kiss and play with your babies and never take this amazing job for granted .

It’s always an honor capturing other fellow photographers in the industry , but especially this mamma. Chloe, (of Chloe Moore Photography) glows as a wife and mamma, and her radiating joy makes a room light up. Call it cheesy or whatever, but when you scroll thru her family memories, you will see she’s full of laughter, kindness and joy. I’m telling you - you will feel it. Not to mention, this family has incredible home decor style, lots of seeping light and lots of LOVE - the opportunity to capture the gorgeous pockets of light in their home amongst them tickeling, snuggling, and playing, as well as witnessing their love for their fur-babies… well it was was one for the books ya’ll. Nothing better than getting to capture one of your best friends during their special milestones. Leilani and I met during our years in college and walked the stage earning our degrees together at CSULB, then both started our own businesses and now starting her own family- which makes me jump for joy for her and Shane as they embark on this new chapter in their lives . It’s such a beautiful thing to go thru this journey of life together , and what an honor it is when a friend entrusts in me to be the one to capture it all for them.
When discussing possible photoshoot locations for their maternity photos, we thought it would be fun to head to the desert and shoot at Joshua Tree National Park for those sun drenched open landscape shots. We knew it would be a magical place to shoot and worth the drive and even worth baring the 100 degree heat, ha. We even stopped off the side of the highway to snap a few windmill shots which has always been on my shooting-bucket-list . This ended up being such a fun day! It is definitely going down as one of my favorite-ever-locations . You just cant beat the dreamy light of the desert!
